Snow isn’t covering the roads in Hazard just yet, but a steady snowfall has continued throughout Monday in Perry County. The National Weather Service in Jackson issued a Winter Storm Warning Monday for several counties in the southeastern portion of Kentucky, including Perry, Knott, and Leslie, effective until 8 p.m . on Tuesday. Accumulation of one to three inches of snow is possible for elevations below 1,500 feet, and three to eight inches above. Travel is expected to be hazardous, especially in higher elevations
