David Walker, 62, passed away on Thursday, April 11 at the Hazard ARH medical center.
He was born December 11, 1950, in Hazard, the son of Alta Mae Combs Walker and the late Dock Walker. David was a life-long resident of Perry County, and by occupation was a long haul truck driver.
He is survived by his mother, Alta Mae Walker of Lotts Creek; son Jeffery Owen Walker and wife Anita of Upper Second Creek; daughter Krista Dawn Stanley and husband Shawn of Georgetown, brother Allen Walker and wife Joyce of Emmalena; sister Melissa Walker Jones and husband Joe of Florence; grandchildren Brittany Walker, Jeffrey Walker, Jr., Braydon Stanley, and Brody Stanley; great-grandchild Hunter Walker; five nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, April 14 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Chris Fugate and James Madden officiating. The entombment followed in the Balis Napier Cemetery located at Lotts Creek.
