Late last week, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Oneida Baptist for a game with the Mountaineers. The Commodores were able to break out of the offensive slump, and rolled up a 16-0 win.

The Commodores opened the game with a single run in the first, but then exploded for nine runs in the second to take the 10-0 lead. Perry Central’s bats were silent in the third inning, but reappeared in the fourth innings.

The Commodores picked up five runs to put the tally at 15-0. The game then ended in the fifth inning after Perry Central scored another run (16-0), and OBI could not get a rally started.

Perry stats: Nathan Pray 1 hit and 2 runs, Ryan Smith 1 run, Dylan Fields 1 hit and 1 run, Tanner Collins 2 runs, Brody Dixon 2 hits, 1 run and 1 RBI, Austin Neace 3 hits, 1 run and 2 RBI, Jordan Baker 1 hit, 2 runs and 2 RBI, Ronnie Long 1 hit, Jaden Combs 2 hits, 1 run and 1 RBI, Seth Napier 1 hit and 2 runs, Colten Walker 2 hits, and Austin Pray 3 hits (HR), 2 runs and 5 RBI.
