Lucille Ledford Taulbee, 70, of Viper, passed away Sunday, June 9 at the hospice care center in Hazard. She was a housewife and member of the Lone Pine Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Palmer Ledford and the late Nancy Ann Bowling Ledford, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Palmer Lester Ledford, and sisters Mabel Adams, Edith Music, and Doris Hill Adams.
She is survived by her husband, Paul David Taulbee; daughters Nancy Ann Ashworth and husband Lawrence, and Jenny Jones and husband Earl Monroe, all of Viper; sisters Evelyn Browning of Ohio and Yvonne Cornett of London. She is also survived by grandchildren Amanda Ashworth, David Jones, Cillesha Ashworth, and Kelly Ashworth.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11. Services will begin at noon on Wednesday, June 12 with Rev. Arnold Branson, Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Blackhawk Cemetery in Happy.
