He is preceded in death by his father, Paschal Napier, and sister Patricia Napier Griffie.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Sullivan Napier; brother Phillip Napier; nephews William and Danny Griffie; and nieces Sheri, Sarah, and Sharon Napier.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Brothers Funeral Home of Hazard where the family received friends on Wednesday, July 1. The funeral service followed with Cecil Morgan and Jim Fields officiating. Interment was at Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff.
