She was the daughter of the late Ervin Dobson and the late Thelma Jean Couch.
She is survived by daughters Jennifer Sturgill and Hank Pelfrey and Crystal Sturgill and Randy White; son James Robert “Bobby” Sturgill and Amanda Johnson; step daughters Angela Langdon and Melissa Williams; step son Linville Phillips, Jr.; sisters Margaret D. Swimpktin, Monette “Cookie” Dobson, Judy Lynn “PeeWee” Barger, and JoAnn Dobson; brothers Jack Ervin Dobson and Malcolm “Buddy” Dobson; six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard. A memorial service was held at the chapel on Tuesday, July 14.
