She was the daughter of the late Boone Bowling and the late Mae Pratt Bowling.
She is survived by her step daughters, Glenna Sue and Roy Lucas, Joyce and Edwin Slone, Delores and Irvin Hicks, and Velma and Darrell Conley; step sons Charles Ray Watts and Vernon and Vivian Watts; sisters Bobbie Jean Lichowich, Jeanette Whitaker, Imogene Thompson, Carolene Jones, Mary Ann Mentan, Louverna Bowling, and Martha Callahan; brothers Larry Bowling, Boone Bowling, Jr., and Terry Bowling; step daughter-in-law Ledah Gaye Watts, and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Sunday, August 9. The funeral service was at the chapel on Monday, August 10 with Emmitt Campbell officiating. Burial was at Little Leatherwood Community Cemetery located Leatherwood.
