He is survive by his wife, Martha Nix; daughters Janice and Jackie Burkhart and Naomi Ruth Mize; stepdaughter Anita Cornett; son Beecher Nix, Jr. and Juanita; grandchildren Connie and Willie Noble, Greg Nix, and Mike Nix; special step grandson Nathan Lee Feltner and a host of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Wednesday, October 14. The funeral service was at the chapel on Thursday, October 15 with Howard Owens, Bob Combs, and Jeff Combs officiating. Interment was at Napier Cemetery located at Lotts Creek.
