She was the daughter of Bill McIntosh and Nell Combs.
She is also survived by her husband, Vernon Rice; sons Bill Rice and Michael Rice; sister Virginia Baker; brother Bill McIntosh and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Sunday, January 10. The funeral service was held at the chapel on Monday, January 11 with Brother Bowling officiating. Interment as at Riverside Cemetery in Hazard.
