Clayborn Eversole, 71, of Busy, passed away Saturday, April 24 at the Hazard ARH medical center.

He was a greeter at Walmart and a member of the Butterfly Church of the Living God.

He was the son of the late Caleb Eversole and the late Zola Eversole and was also preceded in death by sisters Zada Hamblin and Reba Eversole and brothers Teddy Eversole and John M. Eversole.

He is survived by his wife, Freda Eversole; daughters Jacqueline Sue and George Smith, Judy Ann and Leo Couch and Lana Rose and Greg Holford; sons James Russell Morris and Eddie and Teresa Morris; sisters Juanita Couch, Naomi Neal, Fannie Combs, Lydia Eversole and Mourine “Mouse” Grimes; brother Isaac James and Eva Eversole; aunt Maude Gullett along with 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Monday, April 26. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 27 with Curt Eversole and Terry Eversole officiating. Burial was at the Eversole Cemetery located at Busy.
