She was a member of the Happy Church of Christ and the daughter of the late Dishman Combs and the late Kathleen Combs.
She is survived by her husband, Felix Shepherd; daughters Tonya Arlene Smith, Sandra Dee Ritchie, Barbara Ann Pratt and Priscilla Jones; sons Kendall Shepherd, Terry Smith and Donald Gene Smith; sisters Ola Mae Wooton; brothers Ronnie Combs and Johnny Combs; and grandchildren Mitchell Ritchie, Kendra Shepherd, Laiken Shepherd, Hayden Pratt, Tyler Pratt, Lauren Jones, Connor Shepherd, Cole Jones, Jared Smith, Jordan Smith and Saije Elizabeth Smith.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Wednesday, June 16. The funeral service was held on Thursday, June 17 with J.T. Eversole officiating. Interment was at Blackhawk Cemetery located at Happy.
