Hospice flower garden dedicated in memory of former resident

On July 6, the family of Oramious Napier gathered at the hospice center in Hazard to celebrate the dedication of a flower garden in Napier's honor. Napier was a former member of the Perry County Conservation District. “When he died at the care center, the Conservation District gave $400 to the hospice center to grow a flower garden in the courtyard,” said Chas Gayheart, a representative of the hospice center. The patients, she said, can go there for fresh air and to enjoy nature.
