The Hazard-Perry County Women’s Club held ‘Pumpkins in the Park’ on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Bobby Davis Park. Those involved in the club said that Davida Patrick was instrumental in planning and putting together the event. Pumpkins in the Park featured carved and painted pumpkins from various local schools and sponsors of the event. Other local organizations, such as the Hazard Rotary Club, also helped run games and activities. The free event featured various games, food, activities and more.  The Hazard Perry County Women’s Club said that more than 400 people were served at Pumpkins in the Park.
