PCCHS honors veterans

This week, on Nov. 11, the Perry County Central High School Social Studies Department, along with the PCCHS Student Council and JROTC students, hosted a drive-by Veterans Day parade to celebrate and honor veterans of the community. “Due to COVID-19, this year we are not able to host a proper ceremony to recognize the brave individuals who have served our country. However, this doesn't mean that Nov. 11 will go unrecognized,” said organizers of the event. During the event, veterans and their families were greeted by members of the Student Council and JROTC, then drove around the school with different stations to visit. Breakfast and a juice was provided to all veterans who came through the event.
